As a Manufacturing Industrial Engineer, you’ll lead the design, optimization, and transformation of manufacturing systems—ensuring efficiency, precision, and operational excellence. Your work will help deliver mission-critical aircraft that support global defense and innovation.

What You’ll Do

In this role, you will:

• Apply industrial engineering principles to improve products, processes, and manufacturing systems
• Design and optimize plant layouts, equipment utilization, and workflow sequencing
• Develop capacity plans and implement accident prevention and ergonomic solutions
• Analyze workflows and build models, databases, and spreadsheets to track performance metrics
• Identify and implement process improvements to reduce cost, enhance quality, and improve schedule performance
• Support execution planning through project management, scheduling, and shop load balancing
• Provide visibility into production performance, supply chain logistics, and recovery planning
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, design standards, and industry best practices
• Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement within a dynamic production environment

Program Focus:
You’ll support Apache helicopter production, working in a low-volume, high-complexity assembly environment where precision and innovation are critical.

What You Bring

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in Industrial Engineering or Manufacturing/Production Engineering
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, systems optimization, and workflow analysis
• Proven ability to analyze data and implement process improvements
• Reliable attendance and commitment to a structured production environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with low-volume assembly on large-scale platforms (e.g., rotorcraft or military aircraft)
• Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma expertise
• Experience with Discrete Event Simulation tools (e.g., Simio, ProModel)
• Familiarity with scheduling tools (e.g., Aurora, MS Project)
• Knowledge of job sequencing and production scheduling
• Experience with NX/Unigraphics or other 3D CAD tools
• APQP and PFMEA experience
• Familiarity with Teamcenter tools (PDM, Process Simulate, Manufacturing Process Planner)
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
