PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a global leader in the aerospace industry to hire a Product Acceptance Specialist—a detail driven professional who will help ensure that every component released meets the highest safety, quality, and performance standards. As a Product Acceptance Specialist, you will be at the front line of quality assurance, ensuring products meet exact design and compliance requirements. Your daily responsibilities will include:
Inspect products to verify conformance to engineering drawings, blueprints, and design specifications.
Use precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges and thread gauges to validate dimensions and tolerances.
Provide objective evidence of inspections and test results.
Document discrepancies, non conformances, and inspection findings with clear, accurate reporting.
Control and segregate non conforming material to maintain product integrity.
Perform audits, surveillance, and ongoing monitoring to ensure procedural compliance.
Conduct product reviews with customers during verification processes.
Identify recurring or significant issues and initiate corrective action requests.
Utilize Microsoft Office Suite for documentation and communication.
Interface with ERP/MES systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and quality software (such as TIPQA) when applicable.
High School Diploma or GED.
Proficiency with precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges).
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and engineering specifications.
Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.
2–4 years of quality inspection experience, ideally in manufacturing or aerospace.
Experience performing First Article Inspections (FAI).
Familiarity with industry standards such as AS9100.
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles.
Experience using ERP, MES or quality management tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle, TIPQA).
Strong analytical and problem solving abilities for identifying root causes and recommending corrective actions.
