Chipton-Ross is seeking an Avionic Technician for a contract opportunity in Greenville, SC.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE): •Fighter Aircraft Experience is Preferred, but not required heavy Electrical/MOD experience is accepted Avionics/Harness Mod Experience in required •Clearance not required to start , but is a plus if you have active. •4+ years of recent soldering experience is required (Must be able to pass soldering test/training! ) •6+ years of solid electrical/AVI experience,
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: •You will be responsible for Flight Operations, testing/installing electrical harnesses/components, routing various wire/cables, Terminating cables/wires, and performing operational checks to ensure flight readiness. •You may also be required to troubleshoot and repairing electrical and avionics systems based on area team. •You will sometimes perform other duties such as general mechanic installs, testing, and inspections.
REQUIRED EDUCATION: •Accredited HSD/GED
WORK HOURS: •Full-Time •4/10 work schedule •Must be able to work 1st or 2nd shift or weekend. Final shift is assigned after training based of team need 1st Shift - Mon. thru Thurs.; 6;00 AM to 4:30 PM 2nd Shift - Mon. thru Thurs.; 4:30 PM to 3:00 AM Weekend Shift- Thurs-Sun.; 6;00 AM to 4:30 PM
