Design and Analysis Engineer

Job Type: Full Time; Consultant (12 month assignment)
Location: Oklahoma City, OK
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 1st Shift: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay Rate:Starting at $61.15 per hour
Support the entire hardware product lifecycle including requirements analysis, systems engineering, design, qualification, and testing.
Develop and document moderately complex electronic and electrical system requirements.
Design hardware, software, and interface specifications for mission computer subsystems.
Perform integration and validation testing to ensure compliance with functional and operational requirements.
Partner with suppliers to monitor performance and ensure system alignment with program expectations.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues for fielded hardware and software across the lifecycle.
Conduct research into emerging technologies and assess their potential application to program needs.
Participate in lab design, equipment specification, test planning, and data analysis.
Support flight test activities and collaborate with cross functional engineering teams.
Interact with customers and subcontractors to ensure clarity, alignment, and successful technical execution.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or similar technical field (ABET preferred).
3+ years of experience in hardware and LRU development, testing, and qualification.
Strong understanding of subsystem design, requirement allocation, and technical supplier management.
Critical analysis and problem solving skills across systems, hardware, and software domains.
Hands on experience with lab equipment for hardware development, troubleshooting, and data capture.
Experience with system or subsystem architecture and integration.
This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.
Experience working on military aircraft programs.
Knowledge of MIL STD 1553B, ARINC 429, and Ethernet architectures.
Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
Demonstrated leadership, mentoring, or team building skills.
Master’s degree or higher with related engineering experience.
