Chipton-Ross is seeking multiple Sub-Assembly Mechanics for a contract opportunity in Torrance, CA.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE): •2-3 years of experience •Ability to read and comprehend Company Quality Manual, Operating Procedures Manual and Repair Station Manuals, Assembly Orders, blueprints, CLient •Process Specifications and Regulatory (FAA) requirements. •Good knowledge of tools and measuring equipment.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: •Mechanics build components and determine dimensions and torques using calipers, torque wrenches and other measuring equipment. •Mechanics use testing equipment such as OHM meters and pyrometers and various bench testing appliances. •Mechanics must use solvent washing tanks to clean parts prior to assembly, and apply paints, primers or coatings to the finished product.
REQUIRED EDUCATION: •Accredited HSD/GED
