Product Support Engineer

As a Product Support Engineer (Mid Level Flight Technical Data Engineer), you will play a vital role in developing and maintaining the Flight Crew Operations Manual (FCOM) and Quick Reference Handbook (QRH) used by global flight crews. Your work ensures pilots have accurate, clear, and dependable operational data—directly supporting safe and efficient aircraft operations.

Job Type: Full Time; Consultant (9 month assignment)
Location: Seal Beach, CA
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 1st Shift: 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
Pay Rate:Starting at $54.68 per hour
Attendance: Regular and predictable attendance is essential
Analyze engineering data related to flight crew operations, checklists, and operations manuals.
Develop and design flight operations documents used by airline flight crews.
Evaluate detailed engineering information, drawings, and supplier data to integrate into operational documentation packages.
Conduct engineering research to address customer specific requirements, issues, and inquiries.
Convert complex engineering data into clear, structured flight operations content.
Assess customer digital data and publishing system needs.
Create tools, templates, and processes to improve efficiency in producing FCOM and QRH materials.
Technical writing and documentation experience.
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, chemistry, or related field.
5+ years of engineering experience with a bachelor’s degree, 3+ years with a master’s, or relevant experience with a PhD.
This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.
Experience with technical manuals.
Pilot experience or aviation background (not required but highly beneficial).
Degrees from ABET accredited programs preferred but not required.
