Chipton-Ross is seeking a Manfuacturing Engineer for a contract opportunity in Palmdale, CA.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE): •Teamcenter and/or SAP relevant to Bill of Material and/or Shop Floor Management (SFM) •iBASEt (Solumina) and/or Computer Aided Production •Planning (CAPP) and/or Shop Order Maintenance (SOM) Demonstrated understanding of engineering blueprints, process specifications and manufacturing planning. • Must be experienced in standard manufacturing planning process and procedures. • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications and other applicable references. • Demonstrate a technical writing aptitude. • Possess strong communication skills, organization, scheduling and time management skills. • Ability to utilize computer applications such as SAP, MS Office, CAPP/SFM along with model -based engineering systems; iBASEt, Teamcenter and 3DX.
REQUIRED EDUCATION: •Accredited HSD/GED
