PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a skilled Procurement Financial Analyst for a 7 month consulting assignment supporting a leading aerospace innovator. In this high visibility role, you will contribute directly to the financial strategies behind major U.S. Government, Foreign Military Sales, and commercial aerospace procurement efforts. Your work will influence negotiation positions, supplier engagement, and cost transparency across multiple platforms.
Location: Mesa, AZ
Schedule: Monday–Friday, flexible start between 7:30–8:30 AM (shift ends at 4:30 PM)
Pay Range starting at : $36.75 per hour
As a Procurement Financial Analyst, you will conduct cost and price analyses of supplier proposals, develop financial models, and collaborate with cross functional teams to support critical procurement decisions. Your analytical expertise ensures fair, compliant, and data driven negotiation strategies, playing a key role in keeping aerospace programs efficient and competitive.
Analyze supplier proposals to determine fair and reasonable pricing.
Use statistical tools, market trend data, and parametric models to conduct complex cost/price analyses.
Prepare and substantiate cost estimates for both supplier and customer negotiations.
Collaborate closely with Finance, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Contracts teams.
Ensure all procurement financial work complies with company policies and government regulations.
Develop, refine, and improve pricing models, cost analysis templates, and financial tools.
Provide financial insight across multiple contract types including U.S. Government, FMS, and commercial sales.
Support negotiation posture development with quantitative backing.
Travel as needed to support program and supplier engagements.
Bachelor’s degree.
At least 3 years of experience in one or more of the following: Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, Engineering, Contracts, Estimating & Pricing, Business Operations, or Procurement Financial Analysis.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
Experience working with supplier related cost and non cost data.
Background in business case development or financial analysis.
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Education/experience typically including a Bachelor’s degree plus 6+ years of related experience, or equivalent advanced education and experience combinations.
