Location: Tempe, AZ (Hybrid - 2 days/week in the office) | Schedule: 1st shift 7am to 4:30pm | Payrate: $47.39 - $56.86

As a Project Manager, you’ll take the lead on complex, high-impact projects—ensuring critical infrastructure is delivered safely, efficiently, and without disruption. Your work will directly influence the reliability of essential services and the future of utility operations.
What You’ll Do
Step into a high-responsibility role where leadership, technical expertise, and decision-making come together:
Lead end-to-end project management activities, including planning, engineering coordination, procurement, administration, and construction management
Direct and coordinate the work of architects, engineers, designers, technicians, and contractors
Provide technical and procedural guidance to ensure projects are completed efficiently and cost-effectively
Develop and implement project schedules, tracking milestones and progress
Manage procurement processes, including consultant selection, equipment purchasing, and construction contracts
Ensure all projects comply with federal, state, city, and company regulations, codes, and standards
Maintain consistency in design, construction, and operational standards across all projects
Recommend and implement improvements to design and construction processes
Monitor budgets and allocate resources effectively to meet project goals
Navigate complex, high-pressure environments with limited precedent while maintaining objectivity
Deliver regular reports on project status, risks, and performance
What You Bring
Required Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of project management or related experience
(or 9 years of combined education and relevant experience if no degree)
Strong experience managing complex, high-value, or technically challenging projects
Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and external partners
Knowledge of construction management, engineering coordination, and procurement processes
Strong understanding of regulatory compliance and industry standards
Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
Ability to perform effectively in high-pressure, fast-paced environments
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
Experience in utilities, infrastructure, or energy sectors
Familiarity with large-scale public works or critical infrastructure projects
Experience managing projects with significant operational impact
