PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a highly skilled Systems and Data Analyst (SAP MRO Functional Lead) for a full time, 6 month consulting assignment with one of the world’s most respected aerospace organizations. In this strategic hybrid role, you will directly influence complex SAP S/4HANA programs that optimize aircraft maintenance, overhaul, and mission readiness operations.
Work closely with business leaders, architects, and engineering experts as you design and implement cutting edge technical solutions that power essential aerospace operations.
As the Systems and Data Analyst, you will serve as the SAP Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul (MRO) Functional Lead, owning end to end solution design and deployment for high visibility SAP initiatives. Your expertise will directly impact operational performance, system reliability, and enterprise wide data integrity across a global aerospace environment.
Location: Hybrid in Kent, WA, Seattle, WA, or St. Louis, MO (must be local)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 1st shift (7am–4pm)
Pay Range: Starting at $61.16/hour
Lead full SAP Activate project lifecycle activities including requirements validation, workshops, functional design, UAT scripting, and training support.
Translate business requirements into functional and application design documents; coordinate with ABAP developers to build and validate enhancements.
Develop test plans, perform unit and integration testing, and guide root cause analysis during deployment cycles.
Identify, design, and implement complex SAP configuration solutions with full-cycle documentation.
Collaborate with senior executives, SMEs, solution architects, developers, and systems integrators to drive process improvements.
Define and validate robust architecture and data management solutions across SAP and non SAP systems.
Lead evaluations of new tools, releases, and methodologies to enhance enterprise performance.
Independently drive the development of WRICEF objects in collaboration with the ABAP team.
Ensure seamless integration across modules including EAM, EWM, Inventory Management, Service Processing, and Plant Maintenance.
Support cross-functional strategic initiatives, applying critical thinking and innovative problem solving.
Work flexibly with overlapping time zones to support global teams.
Bachelor’s degree or higher (minimum requirement).
2–3 full MRO implementation projects, with at least one in SAP S/4HANA using Activate methodology.
Deep functional expertise in SAP MRO, EAM, Plant Maintenance, Maintenance Planning & Execution, Refurbishment, Inventory Management, Service Processing, and related processes.
Strong knowledge of SAP EWM integration.
Experience with In house and Field Service Repair, including Service Orders, Maintenance Orders, Refurbish Orders, and Subcontracting repairs.
Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA and Fiori.
Knowledge of Activate methodology and Agile (SAFe) practices.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to collaborate effectively with executives, SMEs, developers, and global stakeholders.
This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.
Aerospace & Defense MRO experience or strong equivalent industry background.
iMRO experience is a significant advantage.
SAP S/4HANA certifications.
Advanced technical education or equivalent combined experience (typically 9+ years relevant work).
Proven success developing strong customer and team partnerships.
