PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a detail driven and analytical Procurement Financial Analyst for a full time, 7 month consulting assignment with one of the most respected aerospace innovators in the world. In this hybrid role, you will help shape negotiation strategies, enhance supplier cost transparency, and support procurement decisions that directly influence major aerospace programs.
This is a unique opportunity to work within a high performing Government Procurement Financial Analysis team that plays a critical role in U.S. Government, Foreign Military Sales, and commercial aerospace programs.
Location: Mesa, AZ (Hybrid – 3 days onsite per week)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm
Pay Range:Starting at $33.94 per hour
As a Procurement Financial Analyst, you will analyze complex supplier proposals, develop cost and pricing models, and support negotiations for the procurement of goods and services. Your work ensures fair pricing, regulatory compliance, and sound financial decision making, ultimately supporting the success of major aerospace platforms and global customer programs.
Analyze supplier cost proposals to determine and support fair and reasonable pricing positions.
Conduct in depth cost and price analysis using statistical tools, market research, and parametric models.
Prepare and substantiate cost estimates for supplier and customer negotiations.
Collaborate cross functionally with Finance, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Contracts teams.
Ensure full compliance with company policies, governmental regulations, and procurement standards.
Support the development and continuous improvement of cost analysis templates and tools.
Apply quantitative methods to evaluate supplier cost and non cost data for multiple contract types.
Represent procurement financial analysis in negotiations and cross functional reviews.
Travel as needed in support of business requirements.
Bachelor’s degree.
At least 1 year of experience in Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, Engineering, Contracts, Estimating & Pricing, Business Operations, or Procurement Financial Analysis.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.
Experience working with or analyzing supplier related data.
Background in business case development or financial analysis.
Strong attention to detail, with the ability to analyze complex financial inputs.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Education and experience typically including a relevant bachelor’s degree plus 3 or more years of related work experience, or equivalent advanced education and experience combinations.
