LOCATION: Andover, MA Telework < 50% (3 days onsite, 1 day remote optional)

Summary:
Research component termination styles, plastic encapsulation styles, and construction processes.
Generate Vendor Identification Drawings, Source Control Drawings, and Altered Item Drawings.
Lead component part standardization and selection.
Process change notices (PCNs) in PTC Windchill for Part BOM maintenance according to processes.
Develop and execute component qualification test plans with test houses.
Develop component screenings per Parts Management Process plans.
Interface with customers to present part changes and hardware impacts.
Lead Component Failure Investigations as needed.
Participate in qualifying alternate test houses for part finish mitigations and qualifications.
Research and determine impact of PCNs and obsolescence on programs.
Mentor junior engineers.
Review parts in Siemens Expedition Library for approvals per PMP guidelines.
Requirements:
Ability to obtain Secret Clearance (not required to start)
Bachelor s Degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology
Experience in Component Engineering
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
Desired Skills:
2 5 years experience with PTC Windchill for BOM maintenance
2 5 years experience with Siemens Expedition Cockpit
2 5 years experience with RF component selection
2 5 years experience with Part qualification & failure analysis
2 5 years knowledge of military and automotive electronics standards
Active interim Secret Clearance preferred
