JOB TITLE: Safety & Airworthiness Specialist 3
LOCATION: Everett, WA
PAY RATE: $65/hour

Summary:
Develop and support safety and airworthiness strategies, policies, and initiatives
Research and analyze safety, regulatory data, and industry trends
Contribute technical expertise in areas such as airspace operations, human factors, and regulatory compliance
Collaborate with customers, regulators, and internal teams to address safety and airworthiness issues
Support investigation of safety-related concerns and organizational factors
Assist in implementing safety policies, standards, and regulatory guidance
Provide technical guidance and training on safety and airworthiness topics
Respond to internal and external safety and regulatory inquiries
Own and manage certification plans to ensure first-pass quality and timely completion
Coordinate with internal teams (Engineering, Regulatory Administration, Airworthiness) and external stakeholders
Create, review, and approve certification plan sections
Track certification plan progress and update status in project planning tools
Manage timelines tied to testing milestones (SOI, qualification, ground, and flight tests)
Identify and resolve planning issues and provide regular updates to leadership
Requirements:
Experience with certification processes
Strong understanding of avionics systems
Knowledge of FAA regulations and compliance
Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
Preferred Skills:
Project management experience
Strong communication and coordination skills
Ability to work cross-functionally with technical and regulatory teams
