Summary:
Analyze engineering, reliability, maintainability, and supply chain data to develop support solutions
Develop logistics support analysis records, reports, and provisioning solutions
Determine spare parts requirements, stocking levels, and replacement strategies
Create and maintain technical documentation for operating, testing, inspecting, and maintaining aircraft systems and components
Evaluate aircraft and fleet performance, reliability, and availability to support maintenance planning
Support development of support systems to meet product supportability requirements
Collaborate with engineers, subject matter experts, and illustrators
Assist in identifying logistics support candidates and analyzing product supportability
Support data collection, analysis, and storage of system support technical data
Support technical publication development across multiple aircraft platforms and teams
Work with cross-functional teams to ensure accuracy and completeness of documentation
Analyze and update maintenance and support data
Requirements:
Clearance: Secret (required prior to start)
4+ years of experience in U.S. Air Force heavy aircraft maintenance and/or structures
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Adobe Acrobat, FrameMaker, or Arbortext/Editor
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, schematics, and parts lists
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Good time management, organization, and ability to meet deadlines
Ability to work in a team and follow established processes and checklists
Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
Preferred Qualifications:
Structural engineering or technical experience
Nondestructive Inspection (NDE/NDI) background
