At PDS Tech Commercial, we’re partnering with a leader in the manufacturing industry to bring cutting-edge Building Automation Systems (BAS) to life across North America. As a Project Manager, you’ll be at the center of fast-paced, high-impact projects—ensuring seamless execution from concept to completion. Your leadership will directly influence operational efficiency, energy performance, and customer satisfaction on a national scale. 

What You’ll Do 

Take ownership of complex BAS installation projects and lead them to success: 

• Manage internal teams and external partners, including engineers, programmers, subcontractors, and coordinators  

• Define and maintain project timelines, milestones, and critical paths  

• Oversee budgets, monitor financial performance, and approve milestones  

• Coordinate remote project execution for national accounts across North America  

• Communicate project status, risks, and progress with stakeholders and leadership  

• Troubleshoot challenges and proactively resolve issues to keep projects on track  

• Manage scope changes, ensuring proper approvals and budget alignment  

• Review construction documents, proposals, and project booking packages  

• Approve Bills of Material and oversee system design documentation  

• Schedule subcontractors, site visits, and equipment deliveries  

• Coordinate system checkout, commissioning, and on-site training  

• Ensure all installations meet high-quality standards and customer expectations  

• Deliver exceptional customer experiences throughout the project lifecycle  

What You Bring 

Required Qualifications: 

• Proven experience managing Building Automation System (BAS) installation projects or similar technical projects  

• Strong ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple resources  

• Experience with project budgeting, forecasting, and financial tracking  

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills  

• Ability to manage multiple fast-paced projects simultaneously  

• Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive mindset  

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Experience in manufacturing, automation, or energy systems industries  

• Familiarity with controls systems, commissioning, and system programming  

• Experience working with national or enterprise-level clients  

• Knowledge of industry standards and installation best practices
