Logistics Representative – Drive Mission Readiness in a High Impact Aerospace Environment

Location: Joint Base McGuire Dix Lakehurst, NJ
Type: Full-Time, Consultant (6-Month Assignment)
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 1st Shift (7 AM–4 PM)
Pay Rate:Starting at $30.37 per hour

About the Role

PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a Logistics Representative to support a major aerospace partner on the KC 46 program. In this frontline role, you will ensure timely, accurate logistics support that directly affects aircraft readiness in a mission-critical operational setting. Your ability to resolve supply issues, maintain accurate data, and provide expert customer support will significantly impact day today mission success.

What You’ll Do

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for parts support, order validation, and supply issue resolution.

• Analyze delivery schedules and requirements to maintain mission readiness.

• Coordinate with asset managers and suppliers to resolve shortages or discrepancies.

• Maintain accurate and timely information within both customer and internal logistics systems.

• Prepare and present reports on supply performance, trends, and metrics.

• Investigate inventory discrepancies alongside customer teams and program leadership.

• Support shipping and receiving functions, including documentation and follow up.

• Track inbound and outbound shipments and ensure on time delivery.

• Build strong, professional relationships with internal teams and customers.

• Support warehouse operations, including occasional forklift operation.

Work Environment Expectations

• 100% onsite in support of flightline operations.

• May require occasional flexible hours, evenings, weekends, or holidays.

• Must be prepared to respond to operational needs outside standard hours.

• Potential for domestic/international travel on short notice.

• May require deployment in support of DoD contingency operations.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, or inventory management.

• Experience using logistics systems, databases, or supply support tools.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

• Experience supporting operational or customer facing environments.

• Ability to manage shifting priorities, take initiative, and own tasks from start to resolution.

• Commitment to completing all training and qualification requirements promptly.

• Education typically acquired through:

  • Bachelor’s degree + 6 years related experience

  • Master’s + 4 years related experience

  • 10+ years of directly related work experience

• This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.    

•    Must be eligible to obtain a Security Clearance.                                       
   

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting U.S. Air Force or DoD logistics operations.

• Familiarity with USAF supply systems (FMxC2, ILS S, DIFM processes).

• Experience with product deficiency reporting.

• Knowledge of hazmat handling and associated shipping requirements.

• Ability to interpret technical publications, engineering data, or maintenance documentation.
