Project Manager – Lead High Visibility Aerospace Connectivity Programs

Location: Everett, WA
Type: Full-Time, Consultant (12-Month Assignment)
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 1st Shift (8 AM–4 PM)
Pay Rate:starting at $51.75 per hour

This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). About the Role

PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a Project Management Specialist to support a major aerospace industry leader within the Network and Digital Connectivity Systems organization. This is a high impact role where you will guide complex, cross functional programs involving advanced onboard network systems, digital communication technologies, and integrated connectivity solutions. Your work will directly influence innovation, operational efficiency, and the next generation of aerospace connectivity.

What You'll Do

Key Responsibilities

Workflow & Process Management

• Implement and refine organization wide workflow management processes.

• Evaluate and adopt workflow tools, define end to end processes, and lead change management initiatives.

• Train teams to ensure consistent process application and compliance.

Strategic Planning & Execution

• Develop, monitor, and execute project plans aligned with organizational goals.

• Ensure optimal resource utilization, coordinated schedules, and adherence to critical milestones.

Leadership & Cross Functional Integration

• Lead and support cross disciplinary project teams to deliver on scope, schedule, and quality objectives.

• Foster collaboration, motivation, and accountability across engineering and operational groups.

Risk & Issue Management

• Identify risks early, propose mitigation strategies, and manage resolution.

• Address technical and operational challenges proactively.

Stakeholder Communication

• Provide clear, timely updates to leadership and partners.

• Ensure full transparency on project status, challenges, and key decisions.

Continuous Improvement

• Promote a culture of process efficiency, data driven decision-making, and operational excellence.

• Recommend improvements to project workflows and management practices.

Network Systems Integration

• Apply knowledge of aerospace network systems to ensure seamless integration and performance of digital connectivity solutions.

Required Qualifications

• Experience managing complex project schedules and large-scale programs.

• Strong communication, interpersonal, and executive-level presentation skills.

• Hands-on experience with dashboarding or data visualization tools (Looker, Tableau, Power BI, Grafana).

• Basic SQL skills for accessing and analyzing data.

• 5+ years in program, product, or technical project management.

• 5+ years of influencing stakeholders to solve technical or operational issues.

• Education typically includes:

  • Bachelor’s + 6+ years related experience

  • Master’s + 4+ years related experience

  • Or equivalent professional background

Preferred Qualifications

• PMP or related project management certification.

• Experience with Microsoft Project, JIRA, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.

• Experience supporting international or geographically dispersed teams.

• Background in organizational change management and enabling data-driven processes.

• Familiarity with relevant aerospace or connectivity-related standards and regulations.

• Advanced education in a related field.

• Experience with scripting/automation (SQL automation, Python, ETL maintenance).
