Project Manager – Lead High Impact Aerospace Connectivity Programs

Pay Rate: Starting at $51.75 per hour

About the Role

PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a Project Manager to support a leader in the aerospace industry within the Network and Digital Connectivity Systems organization. In this pivotal role, you will manage complex, cross-functional projects that enable advanced onboard network systems, digital communication technologies, and data-driven operations. Your leadership will directly shape the performance, reliability, and future evolution of aerospace connectivity solutions.

What You’ll Do

Key Responsibilities

Performance & KPI Management

• Define and prioritize organizational KPIs with cross-functional partners.

• Design, build, and maintain dashboards that highlight trends, risks, and opportunities.

• Govern metrics frameworks including data sources, quality checks, instrumentation, and change control.

• Manage reporting cadences, scorecards, and operational reviews while synthesizing insights for leadership.

• Train and coach teams on dashboard usage to support decision-making and continuous improvement.

Workflow & Process Management

• Implement organization-wide workflow management processes.

• Evaluate and roll out new workflow tools, ensuring process consistency across teams.

• Lead change management efforts and support teams in adopting new systems and methodologies.

Strategic Project Leadership

• Develop and execute comprehensive project plans aligned with organizational goals.

• Manage schedules, resources, risks, and dependencies across large-scale programs.

• Lead cross-functional team collaboration to achieve milestones and deliverables.

• Identify and mitigate risks proactively to ensure project success.

Stakeholder Communication & Integration

• Provide clear communication of project status, challenges, and priorities.

• Support seamless integration of network and digital connectivity systems in aerospace environments.

Continuous Improvement & Technical Insight

• Promote a culture of efficiency, data-driven decision-making, and process optimization.

• Apply understanding of aerospace network systems (e.g., onboard networks, ground/offboard communication, digital connectivity components).

Required Qualifications

• Experience managing complex project schedules and large-scale programs.

• Strong communication, interpersonal, and executive presentation skills.

• Hands-on experience with dashboarding/visualization tools (Looker, Power BI, Tableau, Grafana).

• Basic SQL skills for querying and validating data.

• 5+ years in program, product, or technical program management (or equivalent analytics PM experience).

• 5+ years of experience influencing stakeholders to resolve technical and operational challenges.

• Education typically acquired through:

  • Bachelor’s + 6+ years related experience

  • Master’s + 4+ years related experience

  • Equivalent combination of education and experience

• This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.                                               

Preferred Qualifications

• PMP or equivalent project management certification.

• Experience with project/work management tools (MS Project, JIRA, Azure DevOps).

• Experience working with international teams.

• Background in change management and data-driven process adoption.

• Familiarity with industry standards and aerospace regulations.

• Master’s degree in a related discipline.

• Experience with scripting or automation (Python, SQL ETL automation, etc.).
