Qualifying Questions:

Summary:
Architect and implement ASIC prototyping solutions using FPGA platforms (e.g., Synopsys HAPS)
Map ASIC RTL to emulation and FPGA-based systems
Develop and execute validation plans for complex ASIC and FPGA designs
Perform simulation, hardware emulation, and lab bring-up activities
Debug hardware issues and ensure system performance
Automate implementation and testing workflows through scripting
Collaborate with system architects, RTL designers, verification teams, and software developers
Provide technical guidance to junior engineers
Document prototyping, validation, and testing processes
Requirements:
Clearance: Ability to Obtain
BS + 11 years OR MS + 9 years of experience
Strong experience with ASIC prototyping on FPGA platforms (Synopsys HAPS preferred)
Deep understanding of FPGA implementation flow
Experience developing ASIC validation and test plans
Strong hardware debugging skills
Knowledge of data streaming and packet-based protocols (e.g., Ethernet, UCIe, JESD204)
Experience with scripting and automation for testing and implementation
Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
Preferred Skills:
Experience in cross-functional collaboration within ASIC development environments
Strong documentation and communication skills
