Engineering Aide
PDS Tech Commercial is seeking an Engineering Aide to support a leading organization in the aviation industry. This role is an excellent opportunity to contribute directly to high-impact engineering initiatives while ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and control of critical project documentation and configuration baselines.
As an Engineering Aide, you will play an essential role in maintaining configuration integrity across hardware, software, and system baselines. You’ll support multidisciplinary engineering teams, manage change processes, and utilize industry-standard PLM/ERP tools to ensure projects run smoothly and accurately. Your work will directly influence product quality, compliance, and execution across the organization.
Maintain and execute configuration management (CM) processes and procedures across engineering programs.
Track, document, and control changes to designs, documentation, software, and related project assets.
Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, quality, and other cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with CM standards.
Use CM tools—including Teamcenter and Macola EM10—to manage change requests, revisions, and configuration baselines.
Support continuous improvement of CM workflows and documentation accuracy.
Experience:
Typically 2+ years in configuration management, systems engineering, or related fields.
Familiarity with CM tools such as Teamcenter, Enovia, PDM, SAP, Macola, or similar.
Skills:
Strong understanding of CM principles, standards, and best practices.
Proficiency in baseline management and change control processes.
Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem solving skills.
Clear written and verbal communication skills for collaboration with diverse teams.
Other Requirements:
This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.
Minimum 3–4 years of CM experience required.
AA degree preferred but not required.
Working knowledge of Teamcenter PLM and Macola EM10 ERP systems.
CM certifications such as CMPIC or CMII are a plus.

Pay Rate: $34.71 per hour
