PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a leader in the aerospace industry to hire a skilled PCB Electrician to support the testing, troubleshooting, and repair of critical electronic systems. As a PCB Electrician, you will help ensure that printed circuit boards and electronic assemblies operate reliably and meet strict aerospace quality standards. Your work will support the functionality and performance of advanced systems used in aerospace applications.
Role Overview
The PCB Electrician supports the repair and maintenance of printed circuit boards (PCBs), assemblies, and subassemblies. This role involves troubleshooting electronic issues down to the board or component level and performing precise repairs using soldering and de-soldering techniques.
Working in a highly technical environment, you will help maintain the reliability of electronic systems used in aerospace applications.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Test, troubleshoot, and repair printed circuit boards (PCBs), assemblies, and electronic subassemblies
Diagnose electronic issues down to the component or board level
Perform soldering and de-soldering of both through-hole and surface-mounted components
Inspect boards and components to ensure repairs meet quality and functional requirements
Use diagnostic tools and test equipment to identify faults and verify repairs
Follow established repair procedures, documentation, and quality standards
Maintain accurate records of troubleshooting steps, repairs, and test results
Work collaboratively with engineering and production teams to resolve technical issues
Ensure all work complies with safety, quality, and regulatory standards
Required Qualifications
GED or equivalent education
Experience troubleshooting and repairing printed circuit boards and electronic assemblies
Strong soldering and de-soldering skills for both through-hole and surface-mount components
Ability to diagnose and repair issues at the component level
Strong attention to detail and quality standards
Ability to follow technical documentation and repair procedures
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of digital, analog, and RF electronics
Familiarity with IPC standards for electronics assembly and repair
Experience working with electronic test and diagnostic equipment
Previous experience in electronics manufacturing or aerospace electronics environments
