Schedule: Monday–Friday | 2nd Shift (3:00 PM – 11:30 PM)
Job Type: Full-Time Consultant (12-Month Assignment)
Pay Rate Starting at : $39.73 /hour
PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a leader in the aviation industry to bring on a passionate Employee Development Specialist. In this role, you’ll be at the forefront of workforce development—designing, delivering, and enhancing training programs that empower employees with the skills needed to build and maintain world-class aerospace systems. Your impact will be felt across teams as you help shape a safer, smarter, and more capable workforce.
Conduct learning needs analysis and define clear training objectives
Deliver engaging training content and evaluate effectiveness against goals
Lead coaching sessions to improve individual and team performance
Serve as an instructor in specialized aerospace disciplines (Electrical, Structural, Quality, Systems, etc.)
Facilitate training sessions, track learner progress, and provide performance insights
Customize learning materials, courses, and presentations to meet evolving needs
Utilize diverse training methods to enhance engagement and retention
Promote and reinforce safety standards in all training activities
Maintain a positive, productive learning environment and manage classroom dynamics
Perform individual and group assessments; recommend performance improvements
Conduct Train-the-Trainer sessions to certify new instructors
Ensure all training aligns with regulatory, organizational, and industry standards
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree and typically 6+ years of related experience
(or Master’s degree with 4+ years, or 10+ years of equivalent experience)
Proven experience in training delivery, coaching, and performance development
Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional techniques
Ability to work a 2nd shift schedule (3:00 PM – 11:30 PM)
This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in aerospace or technical training environments
Expertise in one or more disciplines: Electrical, Structural, Quality, or Systems
Strong facilitation, presentation, and communication skills
Ability to adapt training strategies to diverse learning styles
Knowledge of regulatory and compliance standards in aviation or manufacturing
Play a key role in developing the talent behind cutting-edge aviation programs
