Aerospace Quality Inspector
PDS Tech Commercial is seeking an Aerospace Quality Inspector to support our partner, a leading organization in the aerospace industry. In this highly impactful role, you will be the last line of defense for product quality—ensuring every part, component, and certification meets exacting standards before it moves into critical operations.
As an Aerospace Quality Inspector, you will perform dimensional, visual, and documentation-based inspections to verify product conformance to design and regulatory requirements. Your expertise ensures accuracy, safety, and reliability across aerospace programs—making your work essential to mission success.

Schedule: Monday–Friday
Employment Type: Full-Time, Consultant (12 months)
Pay Rate: $30.00-35.00 per hour
Verify product conformance to design requirements and document objective evidence.
Perform audits, surveillance, and monitoring of product and processes.
Identify and document discrepancies; segregate and control non-conforming items.
Perform preliminary review and disposition of non-conformances.
Inspect incoming parts/material and outgoing orders, ensuring correct certifications and processing.
Perform dimensional inspections using micrometers, calipers, gauges, comparators, indicators, Smart Scope, and other precision tools.
Conduct visual inspections to identify defects per AQL levels and design requirements.
Control non-conforming product and ensure proper traceability.
Obtain and maintain Customer Designated Supplier Quality Representative (DSQR) stamps for multiple customers.
2+ years of experience using calipers, ring/pin gauges, comparators, and Smart Scope measurement tools.
Hands-on experience with QA inspection methods and procedures.
Proficient PC skills, including Microsoft Outlook and Excel.
Ability to complete required training and assessments for continued assignment.
This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.
Previous aerospace inspection experience.
Working knowledge of AS9100 requirements.
Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
