Support Engineering Data Specialist

As a Support Engineering Data Specialist, you will play a key role in analyzing engineering, logistics, and operational data to develop technical support solutions that ensure aircraft systems are maintainable, reliable, and fully mission-ready. Your work directly impacts maintenance concepts, provisioning strategies, technical publications, and overall fleet performance.

• Interpret and analyze engineering data, reliability metrics, supply chain information, and customer support concepts to create comprehensive support solutions.
• Develop logistics support analysis records, reports, and documentation.
• Recommend product supportability improvements and establish maintenance and operational support tasks.
• Determine spares provisioning requirements, stocking levels, and replacement part recommendations.
• Write, review, and maintain technical documentation related to operating, testing, inspecting, and maintaining aircraft systems and components.
• Evaluate aircraft and fleet performance, reliability, and availability to define maintenance concepts.
• Work within structured logistics databases (such as SLICWave or PowerlogJ) to manage and analyze logistics data.
• Experience gathering, preparing, and analyzing technical data for logistics engineering, logistics support analysis, technical publications, support equipment, spares, provisioning, field services, maintenance, and complete product life cycle support.
• Beginner-level proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Experience using structured logistics databases such as SLICWave or PowerlogJ.
• Education/experience typically acquired through a Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of related experience, or a Master’s degree and 8+ years, or 14+ years of equivalent related experience.
Must be eligible to obtain a Security Clearance.
This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.
• Experience supporting or working with military aircraft platforms.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools including Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
• Job Type: Full-Time Consultant (12 Months, Renewable)
• Location: Tukwila, WA (Onsite at Tukwila Developmental Center, Building 9?08.3)
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 1st shift (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM PT; times negotiable)
• Workweek: Primarily 5x40, 9x80 negotiable
• Pay Rate: $36.31/hr ($31.22/hr base + $5.09/hr H&W)
• Start Date: ASAP
