Job Type: Full-Time Consultant (12-Month Assignment)
Pay Rate Starting at : $59.75 /hour
PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a leader in the aviation industry to find a talented Design and Analysis Engineer ready to make a real impact. In this role, you’ll contribute to the development, testing, and optimization of advanced electronic and electrical systems that power next-generation aerospace solutions. Your work will directly support mission-critical programs and cutting-edge technologies.
Assist in developing and documenting electronic and electrical system requirements
Design and modify hardware and software based on defined specifications
Execute system testing to verify operational and functional performance
Support fabrication teams and suppliers during build processes
Troubleshoot test racks and resolve integration or production issues
Conduct acceptance testing and document compliance with design standards
Develop and maintain test scripts using C and C++
Research emerging technologies for potential application to business needs
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Data Science, or related field
5+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s degree OR 3+ years with a Master’s degree
Must be eligible to obtain a Security Clearance.
This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
Experience with lab test equipment (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, etc.)
Proficiency in C, C++, and Python
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience with Siemens Capital
