JOB TITLE: Manufacturing Engineer 2 Assembly & Installation
LOCATION: Seattle, WA
PAY RATE: $58/hour

Qualifying Questions:

Summary:

    Participate in Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to integrate technical solutions across multiple disciplines

    Identify and implement conceptual designs while maintaining program architecture for build

    Conduct producibility assessments to ensure manufacturing process capability meets design requirements

    Provide producibility inputs for project plans and document best practices

    Analyze design/build concepts to evaluate producible configurations and definitions

    Resolve technical issues impacting performance, cost, or schedule

    Develop detailed manufacturing plans

    Validate and ensure production readiness for complex solutions

    Implement Lean manufacturing principles and enabling technologies

    Collaborate with Supplier Management to establish laboratory test integration requirements and opportunities

Requirements:

    Typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited institution (e.g., Bachelor s degree) with 2+ years of related experience (Master s may substitute for experience).

    In the United States, ABET accreditation is preferred but not required.

    Knowledge of electrical and/or mechanical manufacturing processes and assembly sequencing

    Experience working within the Boeing Manufacturing System

    Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).

Preferred Qualifications:

    3+ years experience in a production and/or manufacturing environment

    3+ years experience leading projects and/or teams

    3+ years experience in a Manufacturing Engineering role

    Experience supporting space or military electronics programs

    Experience with manufacturing tools and systems such as:

      PDM

      CAPP

      CMES

      MESci

      EPARTS

      GOLDesp
