PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a highly experienced Systems and Data Analyst to support our partnership with a leading company in the aerospace industry. We are seeking an experienced Systems and Data Analyst to join a collaborative, high impact team supporting full lifecycle SAP S/4HANA implementations. In this role, you’ll work closely with business stakeholders, solution architects, developers, and cross functional teams to design, implement, and optimize TM solutions that support complex global supply chain operations.
This work statement is non managerial, non leadership, and requires regular and predictable attendance.
As an SAP TM Functional Analyst, you will:
Gather and document detailed business requirements.
Perform fit gap analysis to identify necessary customizations.
Deliver SAP TM process solutions throughout the full lifecycle of TM implementations.
Provide functional expertise in TM areas including:
Transportation Planning & Optimization
Advanced Shipping & Receiving (ASR) and EWM integration
O2C/P2P process integration
GTS & EHS integration
Third party integration and transportation reporting
Design and implement best practice TM business processes during SAP S/4HANA deployments.
Create functional specifications, configure TM, and support batch jobs, testing, and training.
Facilitate training content, update materials, and support user enablement.
Collaborate closely with business and technical teams to resolve functional issues.
Support solution testing and collaborate with partners across design, development, and production teams.
Prepare training documentation and support hands on enablement for team members.
Develop enhanced objects for TM business objects and customize freight order FPM screens.
Participate in cutover, go live, and hyper care activities.
8–12 years of hands on SAP Transportation Management experience with deep configuration knowledge.
Proven ability to design custom solutions within SAP TM.
Strong understanding of:
Transportation planning & optimization
Rate maintenance & freight cost management
Load tendering & event tracking
Transportation reporting
Experience implementing SAP TM components within an ERP landscape.
Strong cross functional integration knowledge across SAP SD, MM, EWM, GTS, and EHS.
Experience supporting order management, planning, execution, and settlement processes.
Hands on experience with SAP TM organizational elements, master data, and structural requirements.
Exposure to multimodal TM scenarios (Road, Air, Rail, Ocean).
Good understanding of ABAP concepts and BOPF structures.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with diverse technical and business teams.
Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field
Experience with large scale, multi phase SAP deployments
Strong analytical, documentation, and cross-team coordination skills
Bachelor’s degree plus 6+ years of related experience,

Master’s degree plus 4+ years of related experience,
OR
10+ years of equivalent industry experience.
