  • Schedule: 1st Shift — 8:00am–5:00pm, 8:30am–5:30pm, or 9:00am–6:00pm

About the Role

As a Manufacturing Engineer IV, you will be the go‑to technical expert for offline CMM programming, dimensional inspection strategy, and model-based manufacturing support. Your work ensures that high-precision components meet stringent quality standards while enabling the team to achieve top-tier safety, delivery, and cost performance.

You’ll collaborate closely with engineers, machinists, and operators—empowering them with clear instructions, reliable programs, and real-time problem-solving.


What You’ll Do (Day-to-Day)

  • Develop, maintain, and verify precision CMM programs using PC-DMIS v2025.1.

  • Program components in alignment with established standards and Product Quality Plans.

  • Manipulate and prepare solid models using Siemens NX 2206/2412 to support programming needs.

  • Prove out CMM programs, validate inspection results, and ensure hardware/software readiness.

  • Provide daily operator support and troubleshooting across the shop floor.

  • Train operators and Manufacturing Engineers on CMM tools and methods as needed.

  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost.

  • Create and maintain workstation instructions for all CMM-related processes.

  • Communicate effectively across cross-functional and matrixed teams.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree, Associate’s Degree, or Machinist Apprentice graduate with 3+ years in dimensional inspection
    OR High School Diploma with 6+ years in dimensional inspection.

  • 3+ years of offline PC-DMIS programming experience.

  • Strong experience interpreting engineering drawings with excellent GD&T knowledge (ASME Y14.5M – 2018).

  • Demonstrated ability to program and operate Coordinate Measuring Machines.

  • Proficient working with 3D solid models (NX preferred).

  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, and shop math skills (geometry & trigonometry).

  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple concurrent projects.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mathematics, or Computer Science.

  • Structured Light Scanning experience—preference for Zeiss Inspect Professional.

  • VBA, Python, C++, or similar programming background.

  • Experience with Heavy Duty Gas Turbine (HDGT) or Aerospace components.

Pay Details: $62.59 per hour
