At PDS Tech Commercial, we’re seeking a detail-driven Project Management Specialist to support critical tooling scheduling and integrated planning for aerospace production programs. This role offers the chance to directly impact the manufacturing lifecycle of leading aerospace technologies.
As a Project Management Specialist, you will coordinate and maintain integrated schedules to support program goals, track tooling orders, and help drive cross-functional planning. Collaborating with operations, engineering, finance, and program leadership, you’ll ensure projects stay aligned, on schedule, and on target.
You’ll support the development, coordination, and maintenance of integrated plans and schedules for programs and projects of moderate complexity, collaborating with partners across the organization.
Support preparation and development of integrated plans and schedules aligned to program requirements.
Assist in building program plans and coordinating schedules with cross functional teams.
Ensure horizontal and vertical schedule integration across functions, product groups, suppliers, and partners.
Identify, track, and report schedule performance variances.
Develop Integrated Master Production Plans and support change incorporation in scheduling products.
Participate in baseline change reviews and analyze impacts to the schedule.
Track, plan, schedule, and perform risk analysis for projects throughout the program lifecycle.
Conduct studies to identify impacts, constraints, or planning needs related to production, development, or process improvements.
Develop and maintain the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) in support of program objectives.
Provide schedule related risk and opportunity analysis, recommending solutions to management.
Work directly with internal customers to develop recovery plans and implement course correction strategies.
Oversee schedule change implementation while coordinating stakeholder commitments.
Develop and publish schedule, planning, and change metrics and reports.
Maintain strict revision control of all planning/scheduling baselines.
In this position, you will specifically support Tooling and Fabrication Scheduling, including:
Scheduling tooling orders across multiple platforms and programs using Manufacturing Execution and Tooling Demand systems.
Coordinating with Finance, Operations, Tooling Design, Program focal points, Manufacturing Engineering, and other stakeholders to align tooling schedules with program needs.
Developing IMS tasks for critical tooling deliverables and supporting Control Account Managers in execution.
Understanding tooling related tasks required within the IMS and assisting CAMs and their teams.
Creating reports, analyzing data, and delivering insights to managers for decision support.
Raising awareness of schedule slips and identifying potential impacts to downstream customers.
1+ years of experience in program planning, project management, integrated scheduling, Industrial Engineering, Business Operations, or a related area.
1+ years of experience collaborating with cross functional teams.
1+ years of experience using Microsoft Office applications.
Bachelor’s degree or higher.
Experience with integrated scheduling tools such as Microsoft Project, Open Plan Professional (OPP), or Primavera.
