Chipton-Ross is seeking an MP&P Engineer 3 for a contract opportunity in Mesa, AZ.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: Apply chemistry, physics, and material science to develop and qualify composite materials and processing methods Provide technical evaluation and material and process support to composite part fabrication Perform root-cause investigations and implement corrective & preventive actions for material and process issues Create and execute test plans, write reports and input to specifications for materials, tools, and processes Qualify and approve equipment, materials and processes Guide material testing in the Materials & Processes Laboratory Coordinate with other disciplines such as Design Engineering, Production Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality Engineering, and Procurement Travel to suppliers as needed Integrate new technologies and promote standardization across product lines Manage test/audit programs, ensure regulatory and contractual compliance, and incorporate EHS, LEAN, and Quality principles into your work

WORK HOURS: Full-Time 9/80 work schedule 1st Shift 7AM-3:30PM MST
