Summary:
Lead development of code and integration of complex software components into fully functional software systems
Develop software verification plans, test procedures, and test environments; execute tests and document results to ensure system requirements are met
Work closely with software and VLSI teams to deliver mission-critical software for custom processor solutions
Write and maintain software installers for Windows platforms, including installers for services, drivers, and system-level software
Perform software performance evaluation and analysis
Manage and track issues using bug tracking and source control systems
Contribute to process improvement and best practices in software development
Requirements:
Bachelor s degree with 9+ years of experience, or Master s degree with 7+ years of experience in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry (ABET-accredited degree preferred but not required)
Experience writing software installers for Windows platforms
Experience creating installers for Windows services, drivers, and system-level software
Python scripting experience
Experience with software performance evaluation and analysis
Experience with bug tracking and source control systems
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams
Attention to detail with a process improvement mindset
Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience developing and debugging software using C# or C++
Experience developing embedded software for ARM processors
Familiarity with computer/information security principles
Familiarity with Intel processor architectures
Experience working in an Agile development environment
