JOB TITLE: Aerospace Systems Technician (Entry Level) - DEFENSE
LOCATION: Heath, OH
PAY RATE: $29/hour

Qualifying Questions:

Summary:
Assist with disassembly of system components to support failure correction or engineering changes
Perform basic troubleshooting of pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems to identify mechanical or electrical faults
Repair or replace faulty components as directed
Perform validation and verification testing of systems and components
Fabricate and modify aerospace products according to engineering specifications
Assist with safe handling of aerospace vehicles, including:
Jacking
Towing
Basic system operations
Follow technical instructions, safety procedures, and quality standards
Work collaboratively with engineering and production teams
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED
Ability to obtain a security clearance after start
Ability to work off-shift schedules (2nd or 3rd shift)
1+ year of experience working with tools and following work instructions
Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office applications
Willingness to work with beryllium and/or other chemicals if required
Aerospace production or laboratory environment
May involve working with specialized equipment, chemicals, and precision tools
Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience inspecting parts, components, assemblies, or units
1+ year of soldering and assembly experience for equipment components
1+ year of experience using handheld and power tools
Ability to read and interpret basic engineering drawings and specifications
1+ year of experience working under a microscope
