JOB TITLE: Technical Designer 3 Electronic/Electrical Design
LOCATION: Oklahoma City, OK
PAY RATE: $48.50/hour

Summary:
Develop, maintain, and release electrical/mechanical drawings, system designs, or engineering documentation according to company, industry, and government standards
Use design tools to prepare documentation and incorporate design changes
Assist in developing and maintaining systems designs and product installation layouts
Identify and resolve design discrepancies
Support system design and functionality validation activities
Plan, conduct, and document tests on products and systems
Perform analyses using source data and pre-set packages
Follow desktop procedures, publication standards, and customer/government specifications for authoring documentation
Verify information, check for discrepancies, and make required changes
Mark up illustrations and submit using established procedures
Develop solutions to routine technical problems of limited scope
Assist in building lab systems, including wire bundles, component installations, and troubleshooting
Ensure systems are installed correctly, operational, and safe
Requirements:
Security Clearance: SECRET (Not required to start; must be able to obtain post-start if needed)
Typically requires an Associate degree or equivalent technical education
3+ years of related work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g., Bachelor + 1 year, 5 years of experience)
Electrical background or knowledge
Experience with wire installation
Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
Preferred Experience:
Electrical installation in commercial or industrial settings
Experience working with electrical components and lab systems
