Summary:
Analyze production non-conformances, conduct root cause analysis, and develop engineering dispositions
Apply design principles to assess and resolve product and process issues throughout the product lifecycle
Research technical, operational, and quality issues to support the development of final engineering solutions
Identify, document, and analyze reported issues that may impact design intent, safety, or compliance
Recommend and manage corrective actions and product/process improvements
Support Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) and participate in design reviews
Represent engineering from initial aircraft build through production and post-production operations
Ensure supplier and build partner compliance with Boeing standards
Develop customer correspondence supporting the continued safe operation and maintenance of aircraft
Participate in on-site repair teams, accident investigations, and technical support teams
Evaluate structural damage or modifications to determine appropriate jacking, shoring, and repair procedures
Design interim structural repairs and perform static strength analysis
Develop non-destructive testing (NDT) procedures, tools, and standards
Requirements:
Bachelor s or Master s degree in Engineering from an ABET-accredited (or equivalent) program
9+ years of experience in one or more of the following areas:
Structural engineering
Systems engineering
Design engineering
Production engineering
Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
Preferred Qualifications:
9+ years of experience supporting MRB (Material Review Board) activities related to aircraft systems or structures
Prior Engineering Material Review Board (MRB) certification
Hands-on experience with materials and manufacturing processes
