Play a Critical Role in Precision Sealing for Advanced Aircraft

PDS Tech Commercial is seeking an experienced Fuel Cell Sealer to support a major aerospace partner. In this high?impact role, you will apply advanced sealing techniques that ensure fuel containment, structural integrity, and the long-term safety of aircraft systems. Your craftsmanship will directly contribute to the reliability and performance of cutting-edge aerospace platforms.

This is an excellent opportunity for sealers skilled in exterior aero seal and fuel tank sealing who are ready to bring their expertise to a fast?paced, high?precision environment.

What You’ll Do

• Perform complex sealing operations including fillet and fay seal, cap sealing, brush coating, scotch cast application, leveling compound application, aerodynamic seal work, and pressure testing.
• Work from blueprints, drawings, specifications, work orders, and quality guidelines to meet compliance and performance standards.
• Complete required data transactions to support seal progression and production flow.
• Perform rework, pickup, fabrication, functional tests, and change incorporation as needed.
• Use measurement tools and equipment to verify accuracy of assigned tasks.
• Report, document, and help troubleshoot issues such as errors, tool or sequence concerns, and assembly challenges.
• Support continuous product flow by assisting and coaching employees across various classification levels.
• Document discrepancies per specification and procedure.
• Temporarily attach assemblies, install collars or hardware (excluding drilling/countersinking).
• Apply sealant compounds for integral fuel cell sealing and major wing section components.
• Perform aerodynamic sealing and other advanced sealing tasks as required.

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience with exterior aerodynamic sealing.
• Must be eligible for rehire (eligibility can be confirmed via designated support line).
• Ability to work any assigned shift.
• Must meet requirements for specific aerospace sealant training programs (provided by the company).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience sealing fuel tanks or working with integral fuel cell sealants.
• Background in major structure sealing, large assembly sealing, or aerospace manufacturing environments.
• Familiarity with training courses such as SEA092, SEA083, and ASY050 (training provided if needed).

Training & Travel Details

• Training will take place in Wichita, KS.
• Flights or mileage reimbursement provided.
• Hotel reimbursement provided for training duration.
• Courses include area?specific sealant instruction and integral fuel?tank sealing preparation.
