This position is ideal for seasoned engineers who excel in fast-paced manufacturing environments, enjoy tackling complex technical challenges, and thrive in hands-on, factory-floor engineering roles.
As a senior-level Liaison Engineer, you will play a critical role supporting daily production operations. Key responsibilities include:
Performing root cause analyses and developing engineering dispositions for production non conformances.
Applying deep knowledge of design principles to resolve product and process issues throughout the lifecycle.
Investigating technical, operational, and quality concerns to develop final engineering solutions.
Identifying and documenting deviations that could impact design intent, safety, or performance, and driving corresponding resolutions.
Leading product and process improvement initiatives.
Supporting Integrated Product Teams (IPT) and contributing to design reviews.
Representing engineering through initial build, production, and post production phases.
Ensuring supplier and build partner compliance with engineering and quality standards.
Developing customer correspondence in support of safe operation and maintenance.
Participating in on site repair and accident investigation teams.
Evaluating structural damage or modifications and determining safe jacking and shoring requirements.
Designing interim structural repairs supported by static strength analysis.
Creating non-destructive test (NDT) procedures, tools, and standards.
This role involves daily exposure to active factory environments, including aircraft interiors, stairs, noise, chemical handling, and real-time production operations.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering from an ABET-accredited or equivalent program.
14+ years of experience in structures, systems, design, or production engineering.
Current or prior MRB experience within the last two years.
Strong communication, collaboration, and decision-making skills.
Ability to work onsite full time and rotate shifts as needed.
