Software Engineer-Developer 4

Description:
Chipton-Ross is seeking a Software Engineer-Developer 4 for a hybrid (onsite/remote) opportunity in Pleasanton, CA.

Hybrid - 3 days a week onsite.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
o Experience writing software installers for Windows platform.
o Experience creating installers for windows services, drivers and system level software.
o Experience with Python scripting.
o Experience with software performance evaluation and analysis.
o Experience with bug tracking and source control systems.
o Regular and predictable attendance is required.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
As a Senior Software Engineer in Client's Secure Computing Solutions group, you will be part of the Pleasanton, California-based Integrated Product Team developing hardware and software security solutions for commercial and aerospace applications.

o Leads development of code and integration of complex software components into a fully functional software system.
o Develops software verification plans, test procedures and test environments, executing the test procedures and documenting test results to ensure software system requirements are met.
o Works under minimal direction.
o Working alongside the software and VLSI teams you will help develop and deliver high quality mission critical software for Client's custom processor solutions.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
o Experience developing and debugging software using high level programming languages (C#, C++).
o Experience developing embedded software for ARM processors.
o Familiarity with computer/information security principles.
o Familiarity with Intel Processor Architectures.
o Experience working in an Agile development environment.

REQUIRED EDUCATION:
Minimum of a Bachelor of Science degree with 9 or more years' experience, or Master's with 7 or more years' experience. Bachelor, Master of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry. ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

Full-Time/First Shift
9:00 AM - 5:30 PM
