Electrical & Electronics Manufacturing Planner
PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a skilled Electrical & Electronics Manufacturing Planner to support our partnership with a leading innovator in the aerospace industry. This is an opportunity to directly impact production efficiency, quality, and on time delivery for one of the most recognized commercial aircraft programs.
In this full-time, 6 month consulting role, you will play a key part in supporting electrical corrective actions, improving producibility, and enabling increased production rates. You will collaborate daily with Manufacturing Engineers, Design Engineers, and Shop Investigators to ensure accurate planning, smooth installation processes, and timely resolution of production issues.
Location: Renton, WA
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 6:00 AM–2:30 PM
Pay Range Starting at : $39.17 per hour
You will support electrical wiring and installation activities by ensuring plans, instructions, and supporting documentation meet production needs. Key responsibilities include:
Processing Production Accountability Requests (PARs) using the Electrical Wiring Information Tracking System (EWITS).
Performing producibility checks and releasing LCC-type changes and Production Illustration Revision Records (PIRRs) when required.
Creating and revising Out Of Sequence Installation Plans (OSIPs) for engineering and planning releases.
Updating or revising Installation Plans in CAPP II and CMES.
Reallocating wire bundles and LMIs to support emergent production requirements.
Ensuring the accuracy and quality of work instructions, bills of materials, and illustrations used on the production floor.
Collaborating with cross functional teams in Manufacturing Engineering, Production, and Engineering.
Investigating and resolving manufacturing-related issues in a fast-paced production environment.
Maintaining regular and predictable attendance to support operational needs.
1 or more years of experience in a manufacturing production environment.
Ability to read, interpret, and understand engineering drawings and specifications.
1 or more years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience (Associate-level or equivalent).
This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.
3+ years related experience (Mid-Level).
6+ years related experience (Senior-Level).
Experience with Manufacturing Engineering Planning systems such as:
Product Data Manager (PDM)
Computer Aided Process Planning (CAPP)
REDARS
WIRS
Education and experience typically achieved through:
Associate degree + 3+ years of related experience, or
Bachelor’s degree + 1+ year of related experience, or
5+ years of equivalent related experience.
