Systems Engineering
PDS Tech Commercial is seeking an Associate Systems Engineer to support our partnership with a leading aerospace innovator. This is a unique opportunity to help design and support advanced aerospace systems used across defense, space, and commercial aviation programs.
As a full time, 12 month consultant based in Ridley Park, PA, you will join a collaborative engineering environment within the Philadelphia Design Center (PDC). Your work will directly contribute to programs spanning vertical lift platforms, commercial aircraft, fixed wing fighters, satellites, and space launch systems.

Schedule: Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM–4:00 PM
Pay Rate Starting at: $49.97 per hour
Attendance: Regular and predictable attendance required
As an Associate Systems Engineer, you will support the development, analysis, and verification of complex systems. Responsibilities include:
Applying an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to assist in system analysis, design, development, and verification.
Supporting evaluations of customer and operational needs to define performance requirements and integrate technical parameters.
Assisting in the assessment of physical, functional, and program interfaces to ensure system compatibility.
Contributing to system and system of systems architecture optimization.
Assisting with analyses related to affordability, safety, reliability, maintainability, testability, human systems integration, survivability, system security, regulatory and certification requirements, and product assurance.
Supporting planning and implementation of requirements management processes, risk and issue management, and technology readiness assessments.
Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in:
Engineering
Engineering Technology
Chemistry
Physics
Mathematics
Data Science
Computer Science
Typically 2+ years of related engineering experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.
Experience with Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools and concepts (e.g., Cameo, MSOSA).
Experience with DOORS or similar requirements management tools.
Master’s degree with relevant engineering experience is also accepted.
