PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a leader in the aerospace industry to find an experienced Systems Engineer who is ready to tackle complex engineering challenges and contribute to mission-critical programs. What You’ll Do

As a Systems Engineer, you will play a key role in the development and integration of complex system architectures. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Leading cross-functional teams to define and maintain system requirements, interfaces, behaviors, and verification requirements

• Applying interdisciplinary engineering practices to plan, design, develop, and verify complex system solutions

• Evaluating customer and operational needs to define system performance requirements and integrate technical parameters

• Ensuring compatibility across physical, functional, and program interfaces

• Developing and managing system requirements, including technical specifications and supplier requirements

• Conducting design reviews and technical assessments to ensure performance, reliability, and compliance with program standards

• Performing analyses to optimize system architecture and lifecycle performance

• Supporting and improving processes related to requirements management, risk management, issue resolution, and technology readiness assessments

• Resolving cross-functional technical issues to maintain program progress and system integrity

This is a non-managerial, non-leadership role focused on technical expertise and systems engineering excellence.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited program in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Data Science, or Computer Science

• 9+ years of related professional experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

• Proven Systems Engineering experience, including:

  • System design

  • Functional decomposition

  • Requirements development

  • System analysis

  • Verification and validation
    
    This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.

• Active U.S. Security Clearance
