PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a leader in the aerospace industry to find an experienced Systems Engineer who is ready to tackle complex engineering challenges and contribute to mission-critical programs. In this role, you’ll apply a collaborative and interdisciplinary approach to design, develop, and verify sophisticated system solutions that support advanced aerospace technologies. As a Systems Engineer, you will play a key role in the development and integration of complex system architectures. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
Leading cross-functional teams to define and maintain system requirements, interfaces, behaviors, and verification requirements
Applying interdisciplinary engineering practices to plan, design, develop, and verify complex system solutions
Evaluating customer and operational needs to define system performance requirements and integrate technical parameters
Ensuring compatibility across physical, functional, and program interfaces
Developing and managing system requirements, including technical specifications and supplier requirements
Conducting design reviews and technical assessments to ensure performance, reliability, and compliance with program standards
Performing analyses to optimize system architecture and lifecycle performance
Supporting and improving processes related to requirements management, risk management, issue resolution, and technology readiness assessments
Resolving cross-functional technical issues to maintain program progress and system integrity
This is a non-managerial, non-leadership role focused on technical expertise and systems engineering excellence.
Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited program in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Data Science, or Computer Science
9+ years of related professional experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Proven Systems Engineering experience, including:
System design
Functional decomposition
Requirements development
System analysis
Verification and validation
This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.
