PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a leading organization in the aviation industry to hire a detail-driven Quality Inspector who is passionate about precision and quality. In this role, you will conduct inspections and quality checks on aircraft components and assemblies while supporting continuous improvement in manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Perform inspections of aircraft systems, structures, and components to verify compliance with engineering specifications and quality standards
Support composite fabrication and structural assembly work, including cleanroom operations and structural inspection tasks
Conduct process and hardware audits and surveillance activities
Assist in identifying, investigating, and documenting root cause analysis and corrective actions
Determine and submit test and investigation statements when quality issues arise
Support training initiatives related to inspection processes and procedures
Verify compliance with Level B inspection requirements and applicable manufacturing standards
Obtain and maintain required Quality Inspector certification stamp within the required timeframe after training
Perform inspections using precision measuring tools and testing equipment
Review and create Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) in MES systems
Inspect and verify installation of various fasteners and hardware, including:
Solid rivets
Blind fasteners
Hex-drive bolts
Lockbolts
Bolts and nuts
Fasteners used in composite structures
Conduct electrical bond and grounding inspections and final verification checks
Perform skin quality inspections and post-assembly sealing inspections
2–5 years of quality inspection or related aerospace manufacturing experience
Ability to certify for Systems Inspection functions
Experience working with precision measuring tools and inspection equipment
Strong understanding of aerospace assembly and inspection processes
Ability to document findings and support corrective actions through root cause analysis
High attention to detail and commitment to quality and compliance
Ability to pass required written and practical testing for inspection certification

Experience in composite fabrication and composite structural inspection, particularly in aerospace manufacturing environments
Experience working in cleanroom manufacturing environments
Familiarity with aircraft structural components and fastener inspection standards
Experience supporting large aircraft production programs
