Design Engineer - Active Secret Clearance

Description:
We have an outstanding Contract position for a Design Engineer to join a leading Company located in the Fort Worth, TX surrounding area.

**US Citizenship is required.**
**Candidate must possess an Active Secret Security Clearance.**

A successful candidate will apply technical expertise in developing solutions to aircraft structural design problems.

Responsibilities:
Creation and/or modification of primary and secondary structural parts, assemblies, installations, and interface control models/documents.
Contributing to developing, testing, and validating aircraft structural designs.
Assisting in creating system requirements, trade studies, statements of work, and test plans.
Coordination with internal Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), with some interaction with external IPTs and suppliers.

Basic Hiring Criteria:
Must have at least 3 years of experience with armament (1 or more of the following: external stores/fuel tanks, pylons, pods)
Must have at least 5 years of recent experience with Structural design.
Must have at least 5 years of experience with Catia V5.
Must have at least 5 years of experience with the creation and/or modification of primary and secondary structural parts, assemblies, installations, and interface control models/documents.
5 years of experience with PDM is preferred.
