PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a leading company in the aerospace industry to find a talented Supply Chain Management Analyst who thrives on solving complex logistics and planning challenges. As a Supply Chain Management Analyst, you will play a key role in ensuring the seamless flow of materials from suppliers to the production floor. Your work will directly support production schedules, optimize inventory levels, and help maintain on-time delivery of essential aerospace components. By applying supply chain methodologies and analytical expertise, you will help transform complex planning data into actionable production plans that keep operations running efficiently.
In this role, you will work under general direction while collaborating with cross-functional teams to manage production planning and material flow. Key responsibilities include:
Coordinate material flow from internal and external suppliers to support production schedules
Analyze complex material requirements using Supply Chain Management (SCM) methodologies
Interpret Bills of Material (BOM) and convert schedules into executable production plans
Initiate, coordinate, and authorize release of production orders based on system requirements and resource availability
Monitor production order progress and ensure on-time delivery to the production shop
Identify, document, and resolve order delinquencies and schedule adherence issues
Develop and control inventory plans while optimizing inventory levels
Analyze and disposition excess inventory to improve supply chain efficiency
Perform audits and maintain compliance with supply chain processes
Develop product and service schedules, supporting planning for new business proposals
Implement process improvements through analysis, root cause identification, and best practice development
Collaborate with procurement, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to resolve issues and drive results
Demonstrated analytical experience in Supply Chain Management, including:
MRP/planning
BOM interpretation
Demand reconciliation
Inventory optimization
Experience with procurement processes, supplier coordination, and production order release/tracking
Proficiency with enterprise SCM or ERP systems and standard office tools such as spreadsheets and reporting software
Strong continuous improvement mindset with experience in process analysis and root cause resolution
Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work across multiple teams and escalate issues when necessary
Bachelor’s degree with typically 6+ years of related experience, OR
Master’s degree with typically 4+ years of related experience, OR
Equivalent combination of education and experience
This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.
Experience supporting aerospace or complex manufacturing supply chains
Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems used in large-scale manufacturing environments
Demonstrated success improving schedule adherence, reducing inventory levels, or implementing supply chain process improvements
