Position Details

• Location: Melbourne, FL

• Schedule: Hybrid, 2–3 days/week onsite

• Hours: 8am–5pm (1st Shift)

• Travel: ~20% domestic (customer sites, conferences)

• Starting Pay Rate: $64.17/hour

What You’ll Do

As an AI Engineer III, you will be a key contributor in architecting innovative AI systems that support mission‑critical initiatives. Your responsibilities include:

• Designing, training, and deploying AI/ML models—including LLMs, CNNs, RNNs, and Transformer architectures

• Developing production‑grade LLM applications (RAG pipelines, agents, prompt engineering, embeddings, function‑calling)

• Building scalable APIs and microservices integrating machine learning capabilities

• Analyzing and preparing large datasets for model development

• Managing the full ML lifecycle: CI/CD, versioning, monitoring, and performance optimization

• Implementing cloud‑based ML infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP) with Docker, Kubernetes, and GPU workloads

• Collaborating cross‑functionally to define AI objectives aligned with strategic business needs

• Ensuring reliability, accuracy, and safety through rigorous testing and validation

Qualifications

Required

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

• Proven experience as an AI Engineer or similar advanced ML/LLM role

• Advanced Python development skills

• Hands‑on experience fine‑tuning, adapting, and deploying LLMs

• Experience with CNNs, RNNs, Transformers, and ML frameworks

• Strong command of CI/CD, MLOps workflows, and model lifecycle management

• Proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)

• Containerization/orchestration experience (Docker, Kubernetes)

• Knowledge of REST or gRPC APIs

• Experience with vector databases

Preferred

• Background with GPU‑accelerated ML workloads

• Experience optimizing LLM/ML systems for performance and cost

• Previous work integrating AI models into large enterprise environments
