Summary:

Lead collaboration with customers to develop and document complex electronic and electrical system requirements.

Translate requirements into system architectures, hardware and software designs, and interface specifications.

Lead system testing and validation efforts to ensure designs meet operational and functional requirements.

Oversee supplier performance to ensure system integration and compliance.

Provide lifecycle support for fielded hardware and software, research emerging technologies, and recommend technology investments.

Requirements:

Bachelor s degree with 9+ years, Master s with 7+ years, or PhD with 4+ years of experience from an accredited program in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or Chemistry

Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance

Aerospace experience required

3+ years of experience with electrical avionics system design, including:

Electrical systems and subsystem design

Interface cable design between systems and platforms

Electrical hardware/software integration

Vendor coordination for part selection

Hardware/software testing in laboratory environments

Experience or knowledge of VPX/VME form factors

Experience or knowledge of communication standards and protocols, including:

RS-422 / RS-232

PC/104

TCP/IP & Ethernet

IEEE-488

MMSI

MIL-STD-1553

Technical system domain knowledge (e.g., air vehicles and/or weapons systems)

Experience with product and systems development and integration

Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
