Job Type: Full-Time Consultant (6-Month Assignment, Potential Contract-to-Hire)
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (Overtime Available)
Pay Rate: Up to $21.75 per hour
PDS Tech Commercial is seeking motivated, detail-driven Assemblers to support production for a leading aerospace manufacturer. In this role, you’ll help build lighting components for an aircraft—critical systems that support safe and reliable flight operations around the world.

As an Assembler, you’ll contribute directly to the production of aircraft lighting systems used in commercial aviation. Working on a takt-time production line, you’ll help ensure quality standards are met while keeping production on schedule. Your work supports safety, reliability, and excellence in aerospace performance.
Perform mechanical assembly of raw materials and components.
Utilize various hand tools, including torque wrenches and small precision tools.
Conduct quality control inspections to ensure product accuracy and compliance.
Follow detailed method sheets and written instructions in English.
Work from blueprints, drawings, and schematics (when applicable).
Maintain productivity targets based on takt-time tracking.
Lift up to 30 lbs as needed.
Stand for the entire 8-hour shift.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-compliant workstation.
High School Diploma or GED required.
1–3 years of prior assembly experience.
Ability to use small hand tools (including torque wrenches).
Must be able to stand for the duration of the entire shift.
Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
Ability to work overtime during busy production periods.
Must be able to read and speak English fluently.
Must be able to follow detailed instructions and procedures while maintaining speed and accuracy.
This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.
Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and schematics.
Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing or aerospace environment.
Strong attention to detail and quality standards.
Safety glasses required at all times.
Closed-toe shoes required.
No sunglasses, hats, shorts, skirts, sagging pants, or ripped jeans permitted.
Production environment requiring standing for the full shift.
