Pay Rate: $19.11/hour
Job Type: Full-Time | 6-Month Consultant Assignment

PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a leading aerospace organization to find a detail-oriented Material Handler who thrives in a fast-paced environment and understands the importance of accuracy, organization, and teamwork. In this role, you’ll play a critical part in ensuring materials are properly received, tracked, and processed—supporting operations that keep aerospace systems running smoothly.

Your Impact

As a Material Handler, you’ll help maintain the flow of incoming goods and repair returns while ensuring accurate documentation and tracking within critical systems. Your attention to detail and coordination with cross-functional teams will directly support operational efficiency and customer satisfaction in a highly regulated aerospace environment.

What You’ll Do

• Process daily incoming goods and returns into the Repair Center database and ERP systems.

• Identify, log, and track items that cannot be inducted due to discrepancies such as paperwork issues, missing information, or incorrect part/serial numbers.

• Communicate with internal teams and external customers regarding product returns, repair status, and receiving issues.

• Maintain accurate delivery and receiving records for all products.

• Manage RAI activity, including communication and logging of AWBs and key tracking dates.

• Provide daily reports on key operational metrics such as units in grief, units processed, and top customer activity.

• Partner with Customer Service and Order Administration teams to resolve issues and expedite processing.

• Monitor and track units placed in “grief” status and support efforts to resolve them quickly.

• Maintain organized records by filing or scanning repair documentation according to company procedures.

• Keep your work area clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.

• Follow all departmental procedures and federal/state safety regulations while maintaining a safe work environment.

• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Logistics Manager.

Basic Qualifications

• High School Diploma or AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post-high school training) with at least 2 years of relevant experience,
  OR

• In the absence of a diploma or degree, 4 years of relevant experience required.

• Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively in a dynamic environment.
  
  This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.                                               
   

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy with data entry.

• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage documentation.

• Strong computer proficiency.

• Experience with Excel and Outlook required; PowerPoint and Microsoft Teams strongly preferred.

• Effective communication and collaboration skills.

• Ability to work closely with customer service representatives, shipping/receiving teams, and MRO leadership.

• Prior experience in a materials handling, logistics, or customer service role.
