PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a leader in the aerospace industry to identify a high-impact Project Engineer in Everett, WA. This is a unique opportunity to step into a visible, technically challenging role that directly supports top-level program goals across major commercial aircraft platforms.

Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Job Type: Full-Time Consultant (12 Months)
Pay Rate Starting at : $62.26 per hour
This is a non-managerial, non-leadership title — but make no mistake, the impact is significant. As a Project Engineer, you will provide technical, business, and integration leadership across complex, cross-functional initiatives supporting commercial aircraft programs in-service, in-production, and under development.
You’ll tackle high-visibility technical challenges, lead integrated efforts across organizations, and help deliver innovative solutions that ensure safety, certification compliance, and production stability. This role will stretch your technical depth and expand your leadership influence across global teams.
Support commercial aircraft programs including 737, 767, 777, 777X, 787, and future-generation platforms
Lead special projects focused on safety, certification, performance, and program-level technical challenges
Develop and execute integrated project plans throughout customer introduction lifecycles
Lead cross-functional technical integration efforts to resolve complex engineering issues
Drive certification activities in compliance with U.S. and international regulations
Manage risks and opportunities while supporting Integrated Product Teams
Lead detailed investigations to ensure system integration, regulatory compliance, and safety assurance
Partner with internal and external stakeholders including senior leadership, regulators, suppliers, and customers
Support delivery, return-to-service efforts, supply chain recovery, and production stream sustainability
Regular and predictable onsite attendance is required.
Bachelor of Science from an accredited program in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Data Science, or Computer Science
10+ years of experience performing complex engineering or system integration work
7+ years leading or managing complex technical projects
5+ years developing and maintaining relationships with senior executives, stakeholders, customers, and business partners
9+ years of experience or equivalent combination of advanced education and related experience
This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.
7+ years of experience with Transport-category aircraft
5+ years supporting U.S. and/or international aircraft certification processes
14+ years of related experience
Experience working with FAA regulations and Regulatory Administration
Project management experience aligned with PMBOK or ANSI/PMI standards
Proven ability to lead major design changes across multiple phases of product and certification lifecycles
Strong communication skills with the ability to simplify complex technical challenges
Self-starter mindset with the ability to operate effectively in undefined or evolving processes
Demonstrated ability to remove roadblocks, establish structure, and align teams toward execution
