Quality Inspector

PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a skilled Quality Inspector to support one of our partners, a leader in the aerospace industry. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring aircraft, components, and documentation meet strict airworthiness and regulatory standards. Your expertise will directly contribute to safe, compliant, and high?quality maintenance operations.
Adhere to General Work Requirements in alignment with Quality leadership guidance.
Conduct weighing procedures following manufacturer?recommended practices.
Upon aircraft arrival, obtain all associated documentation, complete required records, and document receipt.
Coordinate inspection activities using computer?based maintenance tracking systems such as CAMPS and AVTRAC.
Perform inspections on aircraft, engines, parts, and components using precision tools, equipment, and other technical resources to meet all regulatory requirements.
Inspect all new, repaired, and rebuilt parts/components upon receipt for physical damage, conformity, and correct quantities.
Ensure all work packages, orders, arrival records, maintenance actions, and corrective actions are documented accurately.
Complete all required customer and regulatory paperwork (FAA, FAR/CAA, etc.) and verify required approvals.
Research and interpret aircraft drawings and technical data, including REO, ENICO, EO, and DCN documents.
Conduct aircraft walk?around inspections for maintenance release.
Execute return?to?service processes and ensure aircraft meets airworthiness requirements prior to release.
Provide technical data and information to customers as needed.
Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certification.
Minimum 3 years of aircraft maintenance experience, or equivalent substantiated experience.
Minimum 2 years of corporate or commercial jet experience.
Ability to use a variety of measuring instruments, hand tools, and test equipment.
Ability to interpret and process domestic and international regulatory documents.
Working knowledge of FAA regulations, CAA, RSM/QCM, ADs, SBs, TCDS, and associated documentation.
Working knowledge of return?to?service procedures.
Ability to train, coach, and mentor others in areas of qualification.
Ownership of a basic set of hand tools, with the ability to demonstrate inventory and control.
Previous experience supporting maintenance or inspection within a high?volume service environment.
Strong technical documentation and data?interpretation skills.
Ability to collaborate effectively with maintenance, quality, and customer support teams.
