Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
Pay Rate: $19.50 per hour

About the Role

PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a reliable and detail?driven General Operator to support a major aerospace partner. In this hands?on production role, you will contribute directly to the accuracy, quality, and assembly readiness of critical aerospace chassis. Your work ensures components meet strict manufacturing standards and are prepared for the next stage of production.

What You’ll Do

As a General Operator, you’ll perform benching, hardware, and prep tasks essential to aerospace manufacturing, including:

• Straightening post?dip brazed chassis prior to machining.
• Using hand tools such as hammers, straight edge rules, calipers, and height gauges.
• Removing securing materials using pneumatic grinders, files, and chisels.
• Working with helicoils and various types of hardware.
• Reading and interpreting prints related to chassis assembly.
• Supporting additional duties as assigned to meet production schedules and quality requirements.
• Collaborating with team members and performing tasks safely and efficiently.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED (required).
• Hands?on experience working in environments such as heat?treating houses or steel plants (comparable experience).
• Proficiency using hand tools and basic measurement tools.
• Ability to interpret prints for assembly tasks.
• Comfortable with physical labor, repetitive tasks, and working in a production environment.
• Steel toe boots required on the first day.

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following experience is a plus:

• Previous aerospace or manufacturing environment experience.
• Familiarity with helicoils and hardware installation.
• Experience with pneumatic tools or benching processes.
